In a country like ours, where resources are limited and purchasing expensive computers is not feasible, online web-based tools like SketchUp, along with your accompanying tutorials, provide an excellent means of learning everything we need on the internet. Although I anticipate that I may need a more powerful computer to work on complex models in the future, for now, I'll continue to rely on your free tutorials. I've had a longstanding passion for learning 3D modeling but haven't had the opportunity to invest in a high-end computer. I regret that I cannot afford your paid courses, which I believe would offer a faster and more comprehensive learning experience. Thanks for the good work Sir. You've made it easy, One question, the house is 40'x20' and 40'x20', the roof follow me tool works well, what if the rooms are of different sizes like 40'x10' and 40'x30', how would you use the follow me tool?

Great videos. At 5:02 as soon as I click the Follow Me tool, I loose my selected edges (Entity info goes from 2 edges to no selection). Played with it for a while and finally got it to work by dragging and using Ctrl at the corner, but couldn't do it the way you showed. Thanks.

hi, great work you're doing. I'm drawing steel warehouses in Sketchup for about 10 years now and still learning...
Working on a pro 2015 version because my old computer doesn't let me install newer versions, but okay. When copying doors and windows, I usually don't worry to cut holes first, they happen automatically when I paste the window on the face. Same thing with rotating : usually happens all by itself... Maybe because I'm used more to groups than components ?

can you give more detail on how to do the follow me tools on the rooftop....the tool stuck on only half of the roof..could it be because of the line?

great vide - but not sure how you moved the base point off the object when you copied the window - tried all sorts of key combinations but my window always drops to the floor?
