US inflation is at its worst level in a generation and Catholic families across America are no doubt feeling that impact in their wallet. To get some practical and spiritual advice during this tough economic time, EWTN News Contributor Catherine Hadro introduces us to a Catholic family that has mastered how to spend less and live more. Sam and Rob Fatzinger are Maryland Catholic parents who have 14 children, a dog and zero debt. The family of 16 living in financial freedom caught the attention of the Washington Post, which led to their recent book, "A Catholic Guide to Spending Less and Living More." The Fatzinger family's financial tip number 1 is to pray. When it comes to feeding the family they suggest buying cheaper cuts of meat. The Fatzingers say it's key to eat simpler meals, utilizing food already in your pantry and refrigerator. They say organizing a carpool is a great way to cutdown on gas costs. They go on to give sound financial advice to our viewers. And as Catholics prepare for the Holy Week, the Fatzinger family reminds us to embrace living simply.
