I have had basically no success with a city rake until I watched this! I have been working on a Brinks I originally got open pretty quickly with a 4peak Bogota style but have had trouble since then. Using this pulsating tension technique I just opened it four times in a row like it was nothing. Very helpful.

holy shit i was having SO much trouble with my city rake, i had managed to open a lock twice with it and then couldnt open it a third time for over an hour, saw this and tried the rocking motion from this video and opened it 3 times within 5 minutes, thank you for this video.

I got my first Peterson picks yesterday the _4 Cities_ rake set. Great idea for a set, but I don't get why the 3 different rake profiles are about half the length of a typical city rake. They'd be more effective if they were the same size.

I have very little success with the city rake. I guess some padlocks respond better to it than others?

That is not how you hold ur pick number 1 and number 2 ur putting to much force on ur picks so ur picks are not going to last that long
