Chilling by my low-tech, no-filter nano jar aquarium ❤️🍀🦐🐟

This nano jar aquarium serves as a temporary grow-out tank for wild-type guppy fry. Once they mature, they’ll be transferred to a larger aquarium.

Inspired by the Walstad Method, this ecosystem relies on plants to naturally filter the water, maintain balance, and provide oxygen for its inhabitants.

Week Aqua Mini 9 Pro

Photo period: 10 hours with 4 hours siesta period. Light on for 5 hours, off for 4 hours and then turn on again for 5 hours.

Fertiliser:
I add 0.1ml of Tropica Specialised Nutrition liquid fertiliser once per week.
