Socom 2 US Navy Seals game was fun af. One of my fav ps2 classics.

I just downloaded it. I've never played SOCOM. But is is giving me nostalgia vibes of Ghost Recon Phantoms. I loved that game.

Socom 1 and 2 especially by far the best online shooter game I've ever played. Unmatched.

Best of 11 rounds, no respawning
8v8 in moderate size maps
No gadgets and enemy radar, none of that crap. You actually had to use mics and communicate with your team to win.
Friendly fire enabled.

These games today have so many gadgets and extras it's ridiculous. No skill besides quick sniping.

Socom 2 was just amazing.
Lobby's and servers that were generated or made by players so clans could hold down their own "turf"

Clan wars and clan rivalries were epic

Socom 2 was just way too good. Personally, i think socom went franchise went downhill after 2. Confrontation was almost up there nut they dropped all the lobby's too and followed COD. That killed the community these games were popular for. Socom 4 was the closest to socom 2 I think. But 2 is def the best shooter of all time and any socom OG knows that

SOCOM Firetream Bravo 1, 2, 3, Tactical Strike and SOCOM 4 US NAVY SEALs were the only games i played.

Overall, SOCOM was great. Except 4.

I think Socom could be revived from the Metal Gear V engine and gameplay style

Definitely been thinking about picking this up. Edit games pretty fun. It’s a grind but fun played my first showdown matches today and I’ll say this game put a smile on my face.

Duude I was soo sad when they finally shutdown the SOCOM servers. I kinda get that feeling with Ghost Recon Wildlands but it's not the same. I'll definitely check this out

its Pretty Fun, Ive been playing it for a couple months now. i just cant put it down. i have over 100 gameplays on it. you can deactivate seeing skins if you want. there is a option for that.

If any of you havent seen yet, socom confrontation is basically back up online now. You can use your ps3 and the game and change 1 setting, and you in the lobbies. Im waiting for my ps3 to arrive as well as socom again. The community is strong too and more and more people are joining. That will hold me over until they ever decide to make a new game

that being said, ill still try this game out. Looks kinda of like a more military tactical rogue company
