In this review video I will go over what makes the 120XP unique, and will show you exactly how it works. I also break one down to show the internal "guts" of the 120XP.

I personally went with the flex head ratchets, but this video will show you how all of the 120XP ratchet line actually works.

Thanks for watching!

You got almost a quarter of a million subscribers waiting for a new video. You are seriously one of the best tool channels on YT. Please make more videos, please.

Lets see - Real Tool Reviews has made me buy all the Knipex plyers and adj wench sets, Tekton mm and inch wrench sets, drainplug tool, these ratchet sets from Gearwrench, and I forget what else - this damn channel is very expensive to subscribe to.

I heard "pawl" so many times I almost thought I was watching the Andy Griffith Show. As always, great review man!

I personally think that the 1/4" version and stubby one is the absolute best as the 120 teeth really does make working under dash quite alot better.

I'm a maintenance tech and just bought the 3/8 and 1/4. Great review! Don't know how someone could have possibly given a thumbs down. Oh yeah there are no shortage of trolls

Finally bought a set of these ratchets and a full set of their flex head ratcheting wrenches.

Thank you for your reviews to help people like me to know where a good investment in tools is.

Id hate buying the more high dollar tools blind.
So yeah, you kick ass! Haha

Great Video, definitely gave me enough insight into feeling good about purchasing some of the Gear Wrench Ratchets. Now to just wait for them to arrive!

Thanks for the video! I have the 4-pc set of Gearwrench 120xp and they have been working great - need to rebuild a couple of heads now so this gives me an idea of what goes where.

Fun to see you in this early-on video, which is still quite relevant - very good for the beginner to understand concretely.

That 4 set flex head is on sale at Amazon today, Cyber Monday for 75$, I came to see this review but had pretty much decided to get it, but this well done review iced it. Im surprised (or maybe not) that most ratchets aren't greased...really!?

Mine didn't come pre-lubed and it was immediately evident by the sound. Put some permatex red assembly lube in and now they work perfect.

Bought one and had to put a kit in the ratchet before I used it gears slipped. Matco kits work in these ratchets. Now it works fine.

Nice job on this comparison.  Maybe, to make it more obvious, use a paint pen to draw a line on the sockets when doing the side by side click comparison.

I will have to get one of the 120's, I have one of the gearwrench 3/8 drive long handled ratchets with the black and red handle 84 teeth. It is one of my favorite ratchets along with an old 72 tooth sk

Thanks man. I just got the gearwrench 120xp from amazon at a good price. I really like the chromo finish 3° turn. Not bad at all. 1/2-1/4 not bad.

have u done a review on the new sk "DT" ratchet? ...& theyve got a "DT" drop in replacement rebuild kit for the older ratchets to ...ive purchased one each for both my old sk ratchets (3/8 & 1/4) but im building my garage & just havent had a chance to pop em in & try em yet, but the ideal is the new dt ratchets (or a drop in upgrade kit) takes ur 40 tooth 3/8 ratchet & adds an "opposing" paw to double the count while maintaining the strength of the 40 tooth set up... so ur 40 tooth 3/8" is now an 80 tooth, & ur 60 tooth 1/4" is now a 120 tooth ratchet... love ur videos, & would love to see some more sk vids, cause theyre still a quality american company & theyre really rallying a comeback the last few years... & since the "demise" (in my personal opinion) of craftsman, sk is the most affordable american made tool out there that can walk all over craftsman (even the old american stuff) & can not only hang with, but take the fight to the likes of snap on & the rest on both price & quality! ...enjoyed the vid man, thanx!
