Please for the love of God do not buy anything made by AtGames, Its all junk. None of it is up to even a exceptable Quality let alone being on par with the NES or SNES products. Nintendo did a lot of work to make their product as high quality as it is.... This is unbearably bad.

My wife bought me one a few months ago. It has hdmi but it only had color and sound issues on my 60in Samsung tv... but runs good on a 32in Samsung

I bought the latest edition of the ATGames Ultimate Genesis Portable (the one with Pac-Mac and Sonic on the box) and it's honestly pretty good for the price. Yes, there's a lot of generic filler games, but the rest are solid titles, from Sonic to MK to Splatterhouse and Rolling Thunder. As for the sound... it's not good, but it's not horrendous either if played at a lower volume or with ear buds. I'm happy with it and would recommend it. With the portable, you can also download and play ROMS.

Back pocket gamer - agree with everything you said. I'm a gamer so naturally I have ALL the Nintendo Classic series. I also picked up LAST gen atgames SEGA consoles at a $1 Store. I got a portable one with a SD slot and one of the older atgames Sega home consoles. both of which they were closing out at $1 . totally think is worth $1 for the hardware. the portable console I can load ROMs on the SD card and the atgames home consoles allow SD but you need a special FIRECORE SD - CART adapter. I was able to get one on the internet cheap. and it works. you can load sega games on to a SD card and play them at home.

Actually related comment: My friend owns a Sega genesis flashback console, whether or not it was the same company, I don't know, but I do know there was like one sonic game and a crap ton of crappy games that I've never heard of. Then again, I was a Nintendo guy, but still, 70% of the games were stuff I've never herd of. Didnt control well, as expected. I had an old namco plug n play that used and arcade joystick (we all know that those can be pretty janky sometimes) it controlled far better, and that came out in 2004. With easy modding, especially on the Wii, Wii u, and 3ds, you could easily get these games running, or you could get a raspberry pi, and it would be way better. So why do they make a crappier product that's more expensive? If they made a high quality product at a reasonable price, then people would have a deal reason to buy them, but there's easier and cheaper solutions.

This is just seems like a rant based on hearsay, you don't even show the unit or the games running. I just got this console and it's fantastic so far - no issues with sound or video. At $60 it's great value. A few reviewers got early test units that had issues with sound and frame rate/frame drop. None of those issues are present on my unit, the games look and sound great.

I'm content with my "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" for PS3.. Also have Sonic CD/Sonic 4 1+2 & Generations. No need to buy this @Games AssTrash.

I think you'd almost made everyone feel bad about Sega AtGames. I like em. But that doesn't mean everyone likes or dislikes the consoles.
