Love your honesty Matt. I have been watching your videos since I started my business thank you for all you do to help myself and others. I work a fulltime job and have a small business on the side selling custom t-shirt. I recently gave an employee a price for 15 shirts front with back design, when it came to pricing they said is that the best price you can do. Me without thinking gave a lower price and now watching your video makes sense its ok to lose customers. My husband always tells me to know you worth and its ok if customers don't like your price. Definitely love watching your videos always learning new ways to make things happen love your honesty Thanks again Matt.

Brilliant again, it's good to hear from someone like your self matt as you started out in your home and now you are a successful business man and now helping all of us who are starting or like me wanting to start a business but scared of it not working out, I'm in the UK and really want to be able to do this as a living I know a fair bit but not everything but I guess some things you have to learn allong the way, but when you have 3 kids to feed it is quite scary because you can't fail, thanks matt and TRW team for your time and knowledge to help us

I Starting 3 months ago, I was taking every request just to get my feet wet, but now since I feel confident on my work I’m upping my pricing to match the quality work I produce.. plus i would like to expand the business. You made me feel comfortable turning down work only to realize the ppl i turned down come right back to me and we worked the numbers. Appreciate you. After purchasing the TRW Business Profit Calculator we saw how much we were UNDER CHARGING! We've always struggled with pricing out our work before this "upgrade" to our business and it has given us the confidence in our work to price accordingly.

I was terrible at pricing until I got the business calculator from TRW. Now I am making money instead of giving it away. I appreciate all the knowledge, effort, time and generosity that Matt give us with his videos, give away and sales. Thanks Matt!!

I'm new to the business and just starting. I'm learning so much from your videos. I have a full time job where I work for a great entrepreneur and have learned so much starting up a business, but watching your videos, I'm learning even more...and maybe even some of the most important parts of a business...integrity being one of them. I have learned a lot from the trainings and advice from what you have been doing Matt. One of the biggest things that I have learned over the past year is that people will either pay what you are charging or not. Do not devalue your time or products just to get a sale. I am honest with my customers and tell them what it will cost upfront. If they can get a better deal than that is okay with me. I use to try and under bid other companies but realized I was not making any money. Lucky the project I bid on I was not chosen because it was for almost 200 shirts and I would have made only $150 which is not worth it at all. It was than I found your channel and started to realize that I needed to change my prices on products. Thank you for everything Matt and the TRW Crew you all are awesome and have helped me out a lot.

I have such a hard time with pricing. I want to give the customer a great deal but I am also trying to make this business our sole income down the road. I will say that I am quickly learning that the space we have for our equipment is not big enough, and I spend a lot of time unpacking and repacking at the end of the day. I really appreciate all the tips and storage solutions from the TRW Crew. Not to mention all the support, and friendships made. Thanks for all you do to keep us motivated to strive for more with our business.

Yes, I don't consider the time in creating custom design, and look more at the physical supply cost.

This information really opened my eyes. I knew about pricing for shirt and vinyl and labor. I never thought about heat press or cutter. I need to make a change. I guess Im known as cheapest. I don’t want to be known as low quality. 😮

Thank you Matt for helping erase guilt of pricing. Some customers will make you feel like your time isn’t worth money. They pay Walmart labor for every single item they purchase and never expect a hookup or discount.

Your calculator was my greatest helper.. thank you for coming up with that.. I made a list of the shirts I use the most.. and what the base price is for those shirts.. then I have a list of add ons, rhinestones, embroidery, etc.. it sure makes it easier when someone ask me for a price.. I don't have to go look up the shirt cost or remember what prices for each of the add ons.. I have it on a spread sheet and put it on drop box and I always have my phone so I always have access to this info.. has been a big big time saver

Matt thank you for all your videos and sharing your ideas with us all. Thank you for all your advice and knowledge on this industry, its nice to get the alert that your going live or posted a new video. It seems like you know when we need this kind if information. Im a beginner crafter and I thought my pricing was a little to high and I wanted to go lower on my tshirt prices. However I realized I work hard from home trying to design what the customer visions are and its hard. Sometimes I spend days on some designs and I have customers cancel orders because because someone can do it for less. Then I see what they post on social media, and its just a stock photo. I ask all the questions before hand and show them stock photos they reply no I want something better then that. I have turned down a lot of customers that do not leave a 50% deposit. Thank you again for all your hard work and experience you have and to share it with us all is a blessing.
