Visible Wireless + MoFi 4500 - Speed Test and at Home Setup

This is a bit of a followup video to the prior video on Visible Wireless that I did. In this video I'm taking a look at how to add a backup Visible LTE enabled router (MoFi 4500) to my home network to provide both primary WAN failover as well as additional bandwidth capacity in my house to ensure I don't run over my Xfinity 1.2TB monthly bandwidth allotment.

This video focuses on my thoughts on how the MoFi 4500 is working with the Visible Wireless SIM and some speed tests using that vs the prior video where I did speed tests using an iPhone XS Max.

We had a MOFI4500 SIM7 v2 using the Visible Network for several years now. We always had throttling issues. We recently upgraded to the new SIM card from Visible, (still basic service), AND upgraded our MOFI firmware to 4.5 we discovered that we can easily change our IMEI to match the phone that we used to start our Visible service. Now no throttling. The MOFI looks like the cell phone. Our application is on our Camper Van with external Proxicast 7dBi Omni directional MIMO antennas. Used to get 1.56-7.25 Mbps, (at our home driveway). Now after the firmware and SIM card upgrade we jumped to 32 Mbps but more normally 15.3 Mbps down 7.65 up. Also with the firmware 4.5 upgrade carrier aggregation is automatic rather than the manual way. Very happy especially with no additional cost. MOFI support team is very helpful.

My Visable account was terminated because of using to much data and it said something about an unauthorized device. Any suggestions on how to work around that? Also I used it 14 months straight with no issues then one day WiFi was there but no connection so that’s when I got on with there customer service. Can’t find anything about people being terminated for this reason unless something change recently

Silly question here, but how do I activate the Visible SIM card so it'll work in the MoFi? Only options are for iOS or Android. Do I just set it up for my phone then move it over to the router?

I've been running mofi 4500 for roughly 3 years with visible...several months ago I received an email stating my visible sim was being used in a unauthorized device ...I ignored it and eventually that shut it off ...original sim was for an older iPhone 6s+ purchased outside of visible...have you experienced this issue?

I have a Visible sim and I cant get it to work on the MoFi. Works fine on my phone, wish i could figure out whats wrong.??

Can't get this to work for me. Got the visible sim card activated and then put it in the mofi. My internal modem settings were just like yours but I got no internet connection. Started playing around with it and got it to connect with country apn set to United States and apn set to verizon. This only gives me 1 mbps download on average though. Even when the mofi says I have good signal strength. What am I doing wrong?

I just got a MOFI4500 with visible its saying connected but no internet. I followed steps from other videos but it keeps telling me no connection. It has good signal strength n shows connection. I tried different APNS and TTLs... any Ideas?
