I finally did something similar to this. We had been using a booster for awhile, waiting for Starlink. Been waiting over a year and half so I went ahead and got a Verizon wireless router already set up from eBay and the big cell antenna. I couldn’t get the closest tower to me. It was 3 miles away but trees and hills made it impossible, I just turned it until I found something, I’m able to get between 15-20 download and 15 upload. Not much but a lot better than 2-4 download on a good day. Turns out the tower I got is 10 miles away in the next state😂.

I just moved to rural Missouri. I leaned heavily on your videos to build my basic network. Mofi4500, Yagi and Parabolic. Hit my tower 16.4 clicks away. Through trees and over hills. Able to wring 25Mps down and 13Mps up via ATT. Very pleased.

Did my research John. Lived in the area for 25 years, everyone has Verizon.. closest towers were 10 miles away.. subpar service, and NO signal in hometown(which is in a hole on the river). Finally did a test drive on Tmobile, they sent me a hotspot device for free. BAM. The tower they built outside of my hometown with no signal is actually Tmobile and absolutely no one knew that it was. Now my MOFI 4500 internet connected house in the middle of nowhere is getting 71 down 40 up. Pulled 400gigs last month as a test, no issue. Thankful for your knowledge on this topic. Im back to the 21st century living again. BTW local ISP refused to service me even though I bugged them for a year straight.

I have been running a mofi4500 with a proxicast panel antenna in my attic for a month now and couldn't be happier. And its on a visible plan. I have seen speeds of 40 megs down but the average is 20ish.
We have no other option for internet other than satellite but we had that and it sucked.

Thank you for posting these videos. I decided to go with your same antenna setup and it put them on a pole about 20ft high. Im getting 38mbs down and 12-14 up. My tower is 3 miles as the crow flies. Im down in a bit of a valley but on the exiting hill side. In that area i only get 1 bar on cell. With the antennas i now get 3 bars on the mofi. i've locked on band 66 as it seems to be my best. -103. B5(-98) B13(-102) B4&B66(-103) B2(-118) B12&B14&B71(different carriers)

Visible is good.. but only if your tower is Not congested. I have visible and it is almost unusable.. do your research, make sure visible phone works well first.. visible is always deprioritized..meaning you are always last in line for data.. regular Verizon plans get first dibs on data.. if your tower isn't ever busy.. it will work great.. also visible is not good for gaming.. you will have high pings.. if you don't want to spring for a mofi, you can just get a travel router, that will repeat your phones hotspot, so you can connect multiple devices to it.. if you get a visible phone, it only allows 1 connection at a time..with a 5 Mbps limit, the mofi remedies this problem however, with ttl setting..you can get visible for 25 bucks a month if you get 3 friends to link with you.. reddit has a group where you can link up and get the 25 $ deal.. or just get 4 lines yourself for 100$.. just search reddit party pay visible.. hope this helps somebody b4 getting visible..

I bought visible service the mofi4500 the 2 log periodic I cant get it to connect to the mofi. No internet. Any suggestions?

I’m using Sprint for the Mofi4500. Recently, I just got a gaming router (ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Tri-Band) that made the speeds better. Although, whenever I hook up my Xbox, it says I have a Double NAT. With it saying Double NAT, I seem to be playing games online just fine. I’m also planing on getting two yagi directional antennas set up. The only reason why I’m using directionals is because I’m close to my tower and it’s within view of my house but I don’t want that signal quality going all over the place.

Me man. So have this exact setup and im on a visible SIM card. So. Getting pretty good speed. Everything streams just perfect on the tv and phone. But, ps5 and ps4 will not work still. Have tried Ethernet also and still the same. Any idea?
