BTW, do you know of a way to run windows-xp live from a usb? I've installed it onto a usb drive, yet as it boots it blue-screens.. I think the xp kernel doesn't have usb drivers natively?

Or a video on programmatically calling an excel function from python/flutter/etc? I'd like to have excel create a trendline function, then return the equation to my application.

Or possibly the biggest pain.. windows updates! I've disabled all protection services in Task Scheduler, turned off all real-time protection, virus checking services. I've also added the file (Program Files Windows Defender MsMpEng ) to the Virus Threat Protection setting exclusion list, and disabled any and all services that say that I can (most do not allow the option to Stop/Disable).

Unfortunately, this seems to work for a few minutes (the CPU usage drops to 0, memory is still 1800MB), but then after a while, I hear my fan going crazy and sure enough the CPU is at 99% running this antimalware garbage. I've left it running (over a day) just to let it get its scans and updates out of its system, but nope.. seems the computer is only good for updating itself ("Windows Modules Installer Worker” is *ALWAYS* running) and running malware protection.. there's no processing, memory, or disk usage available for anything else!
