This is not totally correct I'm 70% Indigenous. Not all Latino people have that much European DNA.

It is for sure, the whole American continent was colonized by Europeans, so the majority pulation has European DNA. Even I, l am a black Brazilian, yet l am 51% African, 43% European, 4% Tupi Indian, and 3% Levante.

Smallpox practically decimated the Indigenous Natives of the Americas, North, Central, & South. .Europeans, mostly Spanish has more relative immunity than the zero immunity of Natives. Consequently, introduction of full blooded and mixed Europeans produced such features.
Smallpox paved the way for such change.
The Brits invaded India but they didn't change the racial profile there. The Indians in India had relative immunity to smallpox.

Depends on what American latino groups. Mexicans look alot more indigenous compared to islanders and Argentinians.

Most US latinos are Mexicans by far, followed by Salvadoreans, Hondurans, Nicaraguans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans and Colombians.

I am from Uruguay, and my ancestry is mostlt Spanish with some French and a dasb of Charrua . We Latinis cone in every shaoe one can imagine.

Born in Colombia, been in the U.S. since I was an infant and am 64% European. Mexicans are completley different as I'm on the east coast. Here in N.East most Latinos are Afro-Latinos; Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and Cubans down in Florida. However we have areas of much of central and South America descendents all over, mostly in Queens. I have zero african DNA except for Morocco, Egypt which is less than 2% plus 1% from Mesopotamia. Most is from Iberian Penninula 49%, and Hungary, Armenia, Anatolia, Easten Slavic, oh and Jewish which I practice. I did the DNA program linked to National Geographic.

You can actually tell which Latin Americans have a higher European genetics and which ones have a higher native American genetics. The ones with high native genes tend to be very short and stocky, darker, with broader facial features and small eyes. I think Guatemala is one of these countries with high native genetics. A number of Latin Americans also have middle eastern genes. Salma Hayek and Shakira are a good example.

Im a Guatemalan from the US and when i go to guatemala the people there say they can tell im from the US (without me even speaking english) why is that?

Allow me to enlighten you. WE ALL ARE HISPANO-AMERICANOS. We are not Latinos because we never were a province of ROMA. Besides, the term Latinoamerica was invented by Michel Chevalier in the 1830s in a "PEJORATIVE WAY" to differentiate Spain and Portugal in Europe from Spain and Portugal in the New World. We are descended from European ESPAÑOLES & PORTUGUESE, and some little have a little bit of English, Netherlands, French, Africans and a LOT, and a LOT Jewish ancestors. Remember 1492 was the expulsion of Jews and Arabs from the Iberian Peninsula. It is curious, in the USA, angloamericans are proud of being Irish, Scottish, British, etc. We HISPANOAMERICANOS should be proud of being Spaniards, Portugueses, Netherlands, British, and Jews.
