As a geologist I approve this video. Well, only one problem 0:30 "magma is released at the seams of ocean floors..." When it is being erupted it is called lava, not magma. It is only magma when it is beneath the surface, e.g. a magma chamber.

It's kind of irritating how many people are assuming he got this from Cosmos.
Sure, Cosmos is a good show, but this is information that a lot of people know from regular science classes, and their own research.
It's not as if Cosmos was the *first* show ever to bring it up. :/
