Andy Serkis has to be one of the most criminally underrated actors of all time. He conveyed so much emotion and inner conflict in these movies with barely any dialogue. His performance as Smeagol/Gollum is one of a kind. Dude is an absolute masterclass actor.

Karin Konoval really got so much about Maurice's personality right in the decisions she made about how he moved. He is gentle, kind, and intelligent YET formidable. Orangatans are all those things. In just his movements, she nailed this character. He was my fave. He was Caesar's first friend within his own kind and he anchored him, kept him grounded. I don't think Caesar would've became the leader he did and survived all the hardships that go along with that without Maurice by his side.

I just realized that the actors for both Caesar and Koba both got to portray a version of King Kong. That’s sick!

Andy Serkis is such an exceptional actor. No role, no dialogs go to waste when he's present. Caesar is such a memorable character; his expressions, voice, everything was done to perfection. Andy has a talent for making fictional/cgi characters be just as memorable as any other "normal" character.

Andy deserved an Oscar for his performances as Caesar. So dumb that the academy doesn’t consider motion capture acting just because they digitally replace the actors face with an ape when all the emotion of the role is still from the human

This trilogy will go down as one of the greats! So damn good how you made me feel for these apes. The storytelling, writing for the humans and apes (especially apes), and the freaking fantastic cinematography that blows my mind every time I watch these films. Bravo the gentlemen who brought this to life.
