What are the top 3 symptoms of repressed anger?

Knowing these will help you uncover your own repressed anger and begin to heal it.

Anger is one of the most commonly suppressed emotions. It's not socially acceptable to express it, and from an early age we're taught to suppress it.

This has nefarious effects on your wellbeing and behaviour, and can even lead to depression.

I have this common reoccurring dream of zombies, hide and seek from another person, running away from giant ground worms, or just randomly running away on a journey to a destination that never comes.

I just subscribed. Do EFT Tapping and write down timelines of dramatic events, example of timeline. What year trauma happened and explain what happened then ask yourself did something like this happen before. Write down all times year and month and feel all emotional trauma then do EFT Tapping until trauma lessons. Do this work focus on emotional pain until it dissipates and leaves. I hope this information helps someone

It's a mind-blowing idea, that different elements of the dream could be different parts of your brain! This makes so much sense, in the end the brain developed in evolution by adding new layers, and the bottom layers don't have access to the higher ones, and even vice versa awareness is limited. Then it makes so much sense that this lower layer - which makes you feel fear and escape - sees the emotions as an external threat. Maybe this is what is even happening in real life, this is why we perceive it as "external". If we shut it off from the perception of emotional brain, the reptilian brain still feels it, but since there is no other trace in us, it is perceived as external!

I’m having a hard time with these. I don’t find my anger repulsive, I’m scared of it cause I hurt someone really badly once.
