Thank you, Chris. Jeremiah 29:11 is so overused by Pentecostal churches. Their congregations are left hanging on and thinking there is an unrevealed "plan" for each individual. Not so, they ought to just read their Bibles and obey Jesus. That is our plan.

I attended an AOG church for a short bit, and while there, began to believe I might be a "prophet." My first reaction was terror. I knew what they did to God's true prophets. The Lord never let me be fully convinced of my being a prophet, however.

I look at these "prophets" today and I really have to wonder why they aren't terrified-both of the people they are "sent to" as well as the very awesome, heavy and weighty responsibity of being a true messenger of God. One prophet neglected to check with God on one point and the Lord sent a lion to kill him.

If prophets were still around today, I'd NEVER listen to one who shows so little humilty and fear towards God and one who demands endlessly that I listen to them like a dictator.

I wonder if Emma Stark and others would be willing to prophecy naked...
