Ana's working for a company called the "The Young Turks", which was founded by a Turkish man who was so proud of his Turkish history and heritage that it inspired him to select the name of his organization. Unsurprisingly this man originally denied the Armenian genocide, later to change his mind but not change the name of the group, but to show he "cares" he hires an Armenian token. That would be like the modern KKK hiring a single black person with the effort to basically rebrand and reimage.

I’m Armenian, first generation. I don’t hold anything against Cenk for a belief he no longer holds. I was a bit upset in the past but there’s nothing to be upset about now; I’m over it.

I am a turkish canadian. I have many armenian and jewish friends. There are armenian christian and jewish politicians in the turkish parliament today. Things are different now. Certain things should not have happened in the past. We should all learn from the past and not to repeat the atrocities in the future.
