I was under the impression that, like brandy and cognac, not all narcissists are sociopaths, but all sociopaths are narcissists. Also keeping in mind that both anomalies are spectrum disorders. In a century or two, we may have numerical parameters for all these disorders that will help strip away the mysteries that still confuse the general public and confound the legal system.

In a situation with a covert narcissist with sadistic traits only a very few people around would somewhat believe or understand you if you try to explain, even if you show them what have happened with recordings or pictures. It will publicly make you appear guilty for the punishment they forced you to get.

Very very very good, so glad I was born with a broken brain that allows complete reading of the people like Dustin Hoffman and the toothpicks and find way steer clear is possible but when they realize you can see like Roddy Piper the body snatchers come, stay safe

As a narcissist, I find this very relatable and eye-opening. Good Video. I really know how to turn people against themselves and stand without fault. It's not that what I say is necessarily wrong, but it puts everything away from myself. I understood many things about human nature, and I can be all of it. But without a stable core, there really is nothing. In a way, trying to live without shackles makes me formless. The ultimate duality of a narcissist.

I often feel shame and guilt, but it's really brief or just to feel sorry for myself. On one hand, you just try to break out to have a normal life and not regret everything on your deathbad if you even can at that point anymore, and on the other hand, your coping forces you to see yourself as someone who doesn't need change because anything else would be so devastating. I really feel empty, and I often think about suicide since I don't know how to get out, and I do not even really want to. The people around me suffer. I care, and I do not. There isn't any stability. Most of the time, I'm overwhelmed by this, so I stuff everything away and just do what is safest right now and won't give me any more harsh feelings but it's really really short sighted. I know what to do and at the same time I don't.
You can always be somewhat relatable because everything is there in some way, but I don't really know what to do with it besides shortly being safe and escaping nothingness. We are kind of sad individuals. The most human and the most inhuman. Grandiose and sad. But yeah, kind of a monster

Thank you for separating the two disorders! I hate how the two often seemed warped together. So many people assume that ALL of us are narcissists when that is completely not the case whatsoever. It is also a lot easier to spot a narcissist than it is a sociopath because they are less self aware and blend in less.

I wonder which is Meghan Markle. I think she’s both, alternating.

I also pity the narcissist as a antisocial misentrope personality disorder aka sociopath aka just a evil smuck the poor narc from my past didn't even stand a chance he cheated on me everyday love bombed me for 6 months that's why in the end I slept with 6 guys in his bed and attempted to steal his money poor buddy didn't even stand a chance i have no feelings for other people you can always tell the difference the narc needs admiration they need the supply they wear a mask where the antisocial / sociopath we don't give a crap about any human being nor do we need them we just wanna mess with people now you know
