I upgraded from a 2019 Intel iMac. Although I miss 27” I’m glad I made the switch.

I bought a pink M4 Imac to my mother. I chose the four ports version with mouse, large keybooard, 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage. More ports make it easier to add external storage if needed in the future. I just wanted to make upgrades that make a difference from the start. An upgrade to 512GB of storage might have made a difference for her in the future, but that's not certain. Now less than 40GB of her storage space is used. I have deleted unnecessary apps like Imovie and Garage Band.

I upgraded from a yellow M1 iMac to a yellow M4 iMac. I love it, I skipped the M3 because it just seemed like a bare bones update. I LOVE my M4 Mac.

I got mine last week, the 10 core mid level offered at a discount. Absolutely love it. (Blue color)

I’d love another iMac but since the monitor isn’t usable after the computer is out of date I refuse to buy one. I learned my lesson last year when my Intel iMac stopped being usable for what I needed it for. That beautiful monitor is now useless. I’d love to be able to use it with my Mac Studio.

Athough clear and crisp, the screen is too small and when the internals age out you have to throw away what will otherwise be a very usable second screen. M4 Mac Mini remains a much better choice for most folks.

I would up grade if they made a 27 or 32 inch.

I do alot of recording on my iMac Intel so im guessing that the M4 should be much better, just not sure how many GB of Ram i'll need I have 32 Now with the Intel
