"Procrastination is the enemy of smart worker", this was the best tip...

"Hard" work in addition with "Smart" work makes the "Heart" work

Hard work + Smart work = Heart work

Bosses rarely talk about working smart. They almost always talk about working harder. Why? So that you remain an employee instead of their boss.

Some of the best moves I made in 2019 was job hopping. All of the jobs I worked in the past paid less and many of them don't exist anymore.

I've seen too many times in my jobs when someone who works with excel, just for a simple addition problem, spend so much time with input when they could just set up the program to do what you want it to do. They work for excel instead of excel working for them. They work so hard when just taking a small bit of time to figure it out saves them so much effort.

The one about studying the system was the most valuable one to me. It just shows you what you've got in front of you so you can tackle it better.

MY MOST USEFUL TIPs
4) Find shortcuts. and 5) Know when to ask for help

The 80:20 percent rule is definitely one rule for working smart.
I just happened to be one of those people who work hard but not smart so thank you Alux

Don't be afraid to attempt new things to make your work easier. It seems like a lot of people, especially in the workforce, deem ideas against the system lazy.
If it saves time, effort, and energy, try it out.
Appreciate you guys!

It’s not a long linear progression.
Working hard and smart, until you own your time and don’t rush with your upcoming projects.

Pro tip:multi tasking always fails very badly until you realize that you ruined the house of card while trying to open fans for your efficiency/heat tolerance .. Major tasks 1st in the morning & then minor ones for the day is a good going idea, for sure.

The perfectionist looses to the progressive with time, everytime. Because when the progressive is celebrating at the finish line the perfectionist is still complaining about the uneven colour of the tracks. 😊

You need to have a clear picture of what you want to achieve.
- The value of what you produce is measured by how useful it is to people.

Figure out the system you're dealing with.
- Know when to ask for help.

Manage your time well.
- Use time management tools (e.g. to-do lists).
- Take shortcuts.
- Don't spend too much time on minor details that nobody's going to notice or care about.
- Have interruption-free slots in your schedule.
- Avoid procrastination.
- Carry the cube, don't try to turn it into a sphere (work with the tools you have at hand; low-hanging fruit).
