It is a wild ride of a movie in which Gandolfini has a small role as a very menacing mob enforcer. He stole the scenes he was in and it would not surprise me a bit to learn that his role in True Romance led to his casting in the Sopranos.

I met James Gandolfini working as a security guard at AMNH two times. Honestly he was pushy and not nice to the guards. He acted like we should let him in for free with no security check. Also he thought we needed to let his friends in free with no security check.

This being said he was great as Tony.
