God, the first time I played the demo (where you play as Bob) and found a pillow. Thinking it could be used to make his wife more comfortable I used it on her. I was instantly treated with a scene of Bob smothering Kate to death with the pillow while she tearfully apologised for “being a burden” and telling Bob that she loved him with her dying breath…

I instantly quit out of the game and didn’t touch it for a few days after that…

Reminds me of the scene in saints n sinners, where you visit the attic of a woman's house, only to find that her husband turned and ate their children. What makes it extra sad is that the husband was still conscious enough to feel remorse, and he leaves a note apologizing.

You can actually find their zombies in the game in a Muldraugh house, for this to happen that house has to be selected to be a safehouse (note it's random)

For extra details, Kate's zombie is a crawler zombie and there's also a death guy with a shotgun

If we ever get a story line for PZ I’m hoping to see more stuff like this, something I’ve loved about PZ for a while now is how unabashedly it states at the beginning of every game “this is how you died”
