BTW: This video was filmed a month ago before we saw the 5.0 teaser. Seeing the lack of diversity in the characters for Natlan’s release is disappointing for me honestly. If that is something you also care about, voice your opinion and contact Hoyo via email to let them know and maybe they'll take action. Anyways, I'm excited for Natlan and I hope you enjoyed the video!

No one said this, so I’ll say it.

Chest compass reveals both chests AND challenges/puzzles that awards chests.

And showing them within an area, rather than one by one.

I agree with the skins suggestion but especially so for the traveler. I've always loved the idea of the traveler having a twist to their outfit for every region

Real talk, Co-op definitely has a tremendous amount of potential. My own friends and I struggle to figure out what to actually do...

I am a brown Filipino and i honestly dont mind if the characters are white or not, i don't care if my country isn't represented and if they do, just the name alone is enough for me, im not asking for more, if you want true representation, then cant we just connect the globe and allow everyone regardless of skin color to be a part of any culture and be united? Would be cool to see an American try taho. Thats culture appreciation and thats the representation i want to see. Sharing culture is better than relying on skin color alone in order to be represented imo

Im a black South African and I'm not bothered by the fact that there won't be any dark skin character's, I just want more pulls man. The characters can be fckn blue, purple or yellow, just don't make the story boring

I don't want any content that a guy with C6 5 Stars thinks that's hard. Would just be P2W. You knew what would happen if you pull for C6 characters.

I want a mind blowing good story.
And well written world quests.

Yeah, having "hard" content that makes your C6 characters worth it is just a paywall. So no thank you

What I want from Genshin is better camera shots and gesture animations during dialogue sequences. Since each character type uses the exact same gestures when they’re talking, in turn makes them look so stiff and robotic. Atleast provide one or more unique gesture to a character so their personality can shine through it. It will help engage the player more into the story (especially they’re not providing a skip button).

Wuwa does this well. Yeah they recycle gestures too but they do it in a way where atleast each character uses a unique animation. They also have great storyboard artists so scenes transition nicely during these sequences. Chixia is the perfect example, she is so expressive! They showcase her bright, bubbly personality through her expressions and bouncy gestures.

FREE BUILDING FEATURE FOR TEAPOT:
I need a feature that lets us create blueprints for teapots with all the available furnishings without any resource restrictions. This will be just a blueprint and it won't give us any rewards or adeptal energy. We can use it see and feel how the teapot looks like before actually building it. This will help for the following:
1. The players who can build amazing teapots but doesn't want to farm all the resources can gift the community amazing teapot designs without the grind
2. It will avoid the pain of buying or creating a furnishing and realizing it doesn't fit in your design (Yes you can search in internet but this would be much better)
3. Makes farming resources for self created plans much better as we will be having a set goal. (I will no longer have to farm three pieces of wood for one furnishing, create it and return again to the world for another furnishing and do this a thousand times when creating a teapot from scratch)
Overall I think this feature can popularize the teapot feature much better

This was originaly a response to another comment but I decided to post it as it's own

I do agree that culture ≠ skin tone, however I can't help but feel like it's a disingenuous argument at least in this case. People aren't saying that, they are saying that portraying a culture without the people who created it, who were for the most part dark skinned POCs, is uncomfortable, and quite honestly a slap to the face. It feel very "we're gonna take all the aspect of your culture we find cool and profit from it but not include you, people who made this culture" and that's the very definition whitewashing in media. With how in depth Genshin goes into with
every cultures it takes inspiration from, asking for more diversity isn't just for tokenism it's about respect. That's the issue I personnaly take with the presentation of Natlan so far.

I myself am from France and Paris is one of the most diverse city in the world and I would have loved to see a diversity of skintones, at least in the main City of Fontaine to nods to that. If skin tone doesn't matter why is it so hard to find it anywhere in the game amongst NPCs and playable characters ?

I of course, do not expect everyone to agree with that, or be concerned by this issue, it simply saddens me that people who express their disapointment are dimissed and reducing the issues to "culture is not skin color". I simply ask for RESPECT.
Please understand that just because it doesn't matter to you, that isn't the case for everyone. If you don't care, wouldn't it be nice for the people who do to get what they want ?
and
YES lighter skinned pocs exist and it's GREAT to see it ingame, DARKER skinned pocs also exist and should get the same chance.

They need to put in Artifacts loadouts, it's such a simple thing to put in and idk why they haven't considered it in all these years even once..

I personally would like for more diversity/variety among the characters because come on 4 years in and not one small boy character similar to Klee, Sayu, Diona, etc. or even a muscled up character like the NPC enemies we be getting.

Regarding the Natlan skin controversy, I’m not too bothered about it but it’s definitely unfitting. They’re in a savannah type area and someone characters like Kinich are as white as paper which makes no sense. I feel like they definitely need to be more tan and give a few of them darker skin tones to fit in with Natlan’s warm environment. (Although to be honest Citlali being pale makes sense to me because I feel like she’s the type of character to stay indoors a lot)

Useful.

i think some smaller things they could add is your own pet to care for and follow you around or do tricks for example, like how you cared for one in that cat event not so long ago. maybe feeding it or petting it can count as one of the daily commissions/rewards in the handbook. i think small interactive details like this would make a positive change and just have a more alive feeling to the game. and i know players have been wanting to pet animals for years now

i wish we could get craftable skins, Chiori's story quest was the perfect way to implement that. They can make it as hard as they want, as longt as we get skins
