I watched this video the other day and was going to play 18 the next day with my brother. I decided to try it since my chipping couldn’t possibly be any worse. I had never broken 90 before. My best round ever was a 92. I used this and was chipping everything within 3-4 feet of the cup and shot an 81, which is obviously my best round, but also beat my brother’s best round of 83

Great suggestion Alex on how to "tweak" your chip shots or even your pitch shots in order to drop strokes! I like the "squeezing" the arms pits with the upper forearms and taking the wrists out of the shot. I think both Steve Stricker and Zach Johnson, PGA Pro's have both made a career out of these shots. Great video! Love all of your content. What club did you use for those chip shots…especially around the green during summer months in the US? I have been using PW or 9 iron, both worked pretty good for winter months when it was wet and needed more roll out. Too scared to try a 54 or 58….

Do you keep the toe of the wedge more down and the shaft slightly more vertical than the normal position when doing this?

If you manage your tempo your wrists can actually be totally relaxed too. I’ve used this method for years and I’m probably inside of 3 feet 75% of the time after chipping. I usually expose the bounce too for extra forgiveness in the hard clay turf around here.

I currently have an issue with where to put the ball in my stance when hitting irons. Whether I'm on a slope or flat in the fairway, I mostly top the ball and it dribbles 20-30 yards down course. Any advice with that would be greatly appreciated.
