The NEW 2023 Irons NOBODY WILL BUY... BUT SHOULD! When choosing your new golf clubs for 2023 there will be so many options as to where to spend your money? should you buy the new taylormade driver, new ping g430 driver, new callaway driver or even the new mizuno driver? in this video I take a look at the latest irons for 2023... the new Taylormade irons will certainly grab peoples attention however I think people may go from one extreme to another... the hollow body power irons in the TaylorMade P770 could well be the best for most people... however golfers may be drawn to the beauty of the new Taylormade P7Mb... the blade iron that looks stunning. who will try the Taylormade P7MC iron? lets find out.. and let's do it now!

James, we don't hit it all like you and Chris. It's good that you give your impressions BUT why not get 2 or 3 fifteen handicapers to try them and comment on how they like them?

Enjoyed this James, I have the current P7MC in 5- pitching wedge, replaced my Wilson Staff FG Tour V6 irons which I thought would be with me forever but I couldn’t be happier with the TMs, I love everything about them and there’s no better feeling than catching a forged iron sweet, I’d completely agree that more folk should get fitted for such as these, lot of folk get put off by the small profile but I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.

Looking down on a smaller club head gives me additional confidence. I know that I am good enough to hit the club pure and when I see the looking back at me, it helps me swing properly. My current irons, NIKE Vapor Pro are like this and it is time to upgrade. P7-MC will more than likely be the choice, assuming I test and like them. 15 handicap that loses my strokes on short game and putting.

Love everything you produce James, your ball strike is magic mate and I would kill for your ability and I hope you carry on with your work outstanding

These do look pretty damn good. Looks wise I think titleist and mizuno have them beat in this players profile category. Side note I’m a mid high handicapper. Currently I’m a 15 and play t100S. Was previously gaming srixon z585 I was surprised how easy the smaller heads on my titleist are to hit.

James, I enjoy your and Chris's reviews. As well as others on YouTube.
I currently play Sub 70 699 and 699 pro combo set. Fitted for me. They fit my game and work great for me.
Custom fitted for me, I paid almost half of what I would if I bought those TaylorMades. No thanks.
But keep up the great work on your reviews. I know it's valuable information will help most, make a better educated decision.

there are soooo many options with any clubs...reviews like these help, but you need to experience the club in your hand. Hit, fit, play and then decide. For a lot of us price will be the bottom line. Thanks for showing us the buffet that is new clubs

The MCs look sweet, however as a brand loyalist I still favor the Titleist t100.
Currently playing 716 ap2

The Mizuno JPX 923 Pro's are the best, great feel, looks and distance.

Do they come in gun metal grey? I hate irons with a mirror finish.

I have a glut of old clubs and I can't afford to keep buying new clubs every 6 weeks. You have a solid swing that I can learn from, so that's why I've subscribed to your site.
Please do some clips of using old clubs possibly found for pennies in a flea market or a yard sale. Have you ever heard of Tommy Mann Bumber clubs? You'd definitely get your par but maybe you'd do better.
(Oh, btw, you have some trolls in your threads that use your name as their moniker. Perhaps you might want to take that up with [at least] YouTube.)

How would you say forgiveness compares to like t100 or zx7?

I've been playing a set of the equivalent cb from Bridgestone for the last 6 years. I'll soon replace them (likely by the Takomo 301 combo set). To me, this is the almost "perfect iron", with that little bit of help no one in his right mind will refuse (except the likes of Rory, Adam Scott or Tiger) and still a lot of feel, great looks and a size small enough that you can "shape" easily (read, a MOI small enough that twisting the face mid swing by a few degrees isn't a struggle). Now, my thoughts on that are that this "help and playability combo" comes handy after the 8i or the 7i. Before that, even without being an "elite ballstriker" you can live and enjoy a pure blade provided you have enough speed. I mean "fast" golfers usually have a problem of short/middle irons going to high and possibly too far (enter the blades that help reduce that by offering a CG placement higher and closer to the face) but past the 7 or 6 the struggle is to have enough height to get a decent stopping power (enter the CB or even the hollow-bodied heads).
