Maintenance today came in screaming in my apartment and cussing and I swear I thought someone broke in, and I called the police from my closet, .. shaking.. he was snooping in my cousins room and I was just crying so scared afterwards..

If he's still there, I'd be filming him still on the premises and then sue the management company. This is abhorrent behaviour and unforgivable failure to remedy the situation. If he genuinely HAS been sacked and is still hanging around, call the police and have him arrested for trespass.

Make sure to only rent from places that does NOT have a copy of your key!!! Better yet, fight to make it a law!!!! It is here in Denmark. So they can only come in when we are home, or we can choose to lend them one of our keys so they can fix whatever while we are at work etc.

This is happening to me. He steals my SD cards from my camera. Erases my cameras the landlords won’t do anything the police won’t do anything. Everyone believes him and not me

I hate maintenance people to show up at your apartment when you’re not there in the steel stuff all the time because they have spare keys to the apartment didn’t come with no work order they do that in my neighborhood to something has to be done

Hi ABC 15, today I was watching my girlfriend's apartment because the landlord was supposed to fix a light in the bathroom and I decided to sit in her bedroom with the door closed. After he allegedly fixed the light I heard him walking into the other bedroom and confirming(talking) to himself that the kids(and their mother) stayed in one room and my girlfriend and her little sister stay in this room(the room I was sitting in). He had no idea that I was in my girlfriend's bedroom. When he walked in he was surprised that I was laying on her bed "Oh someone is in here". After a couple minutes he was showing me what he had to do to repair the light and then tries to interrogate me telling me that I am not on the lease and I said "that is true, because I am not staying here". He tells me "that's bullshit" and that my girlfriend is "gonna pay more". The tenants in this apartment are my girlfriend(age 23), her 2 sisters(ages 29 and 13) and 2 infants(young boys at the age of 3 and 5). The landlord is a male in his early 50s. Can you tell me what you think about this situation and what my girlfriend should do. Please reply as soon as you can.
