i work at a somewhat high end restaurant/winery, on a slow night i invited my grandparents. they were allowed to use my 50% off discount AND the RM gave them free wine (Sample bottles that are a day or so old are usually just drank by staff because you cant sell half full bottles and it was the end of the week so theyd just sit there over the staff weekend) the bill was only 100 bucks for a ribeye, charcuterie board, broccollini, salmon, and 2 scoops of ice cream. they had a fantastic time. EXCEPT until the next day when they complained about the prices several times. smh

I shared this with some of my friends who are currently on strike from HarperCollins (power to the people AND the chickens)--a new Drew always cheers them up! They might not be doing restaurant work, but they can definitely feel solidarity for all the staff working down in the trenches in the Bistro Huddies of the world.

There were so many funny parts to this video. I literally laughed out loud when Tim asked if the chickens had unionized, followed by Pam's "Good for them" comment. And I love Brad's BS voice, "We had to make a market adjustment ". I was also surprised that Terry basically said take it or leave it, I'm not used to that from Terry.
