Way different than their normal deathcore stuff

I had no expectations that this would even remotely sound like a Metalcore song. I literally just watched this video to see Nik's reaction and that alone.

The disappointment on Nik’s face that there was no breakdown 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

‘Hell yeah brotha vibes’ is the perfect description

This is one of the heaviest extreme metal songs ive ever heard. The breakdown just killed me and the vocals, i cant get past them

it started off chunky as hell, then went to exactly what you'd expect Nickelback to sound like.

This is the kind of rock an aging jock from highschool listens to on his way to work at the paper factory wearing his Dallas Cowboy's hat, with his Thin Blue Line sticker on his oversized truck.

I mean, it IS Nickleback. They gave us some good old fashioned bro rock. And you know what, it’s catchy and fun. One thing I’ve always loved about them is it’s a great mix. They let you hear every instrument.

Dude. He could really pull off some damn good, very heavy metal vocals with those initial screams on the first two lyric lines.

That shit caught me off guard, I want more of that.

Ya know, it's a great riff. It's catchy and fine.
Nickleback does get too much hate tho. They've got some great riffs and good songs.

I did have REALLY high hopes for this track to be heavier based off the teaser but honestly it's not bad. It's about a 7/10 for me because it's catchy. I just wish they would channel their roots from "Silver Side Up" and "The Long Road" because back in those albums they did have some heavy tracks that honestly hold up today.

It sounds like a middle aged garage band that has influences of Nickelback and Godsmack. Bunch of 35 year olds that wear wife beaters, baggy jeans, and chain wallets. You know the ones you see at your local gas station at 3am getting a couple of tall boys and a monster. That's who would not only write this song but it's also the key demographic.

To be honest, I like Chad's voice really much. It would sound amazing in a Volbeat-like band.

Legitimately nearly spat my drink out when the chorus hit again post build up lmfao. Priceless..

Say what you want, but the fact his voice can still sound like that after 20 years is pretty amazing.

LMAO, somebody please make a version with the cycle back to the chorus replaced with an actual breakdown so Nik can react to it on stream or something!

Well, this song will absolutely be played ad nauseum in back-road strip clubs right alongside various other '90's/ early 2000's generic rock music and '80's hair metal ballads.

This was actually a really solid track they did add some metalcore touches especially with the riff and the solo I was kind of hoping for a breakdown honestly

Nickelback is pretty formulaic imo. They have a certain feel to their songs and this song while a tad heavier still has that same formula. If you told me this song actually came out 10-15 years ago I would've believed it. Not saying it's bad just saying it sounds just like their other tracks
