After a long hiatus, the best-selling Irish pop-rock band is about to return with a new album called Roses. But if this performance at the NPR Music offices is any indication, the group isn't afraid to dip into its arsenal of early hits.

I saw the Cranberries in 1996. In Wallingford CT. I was 16 yrs old going with my best friend Dan Kaminski.. his mom drove us on our map quest directions.. they weren't great.. be finally found the place.. felt like the middle of the woods.. Oakdale theater was the name.. I just recalled. Collective soul opened for them.. gel was playing when we walked up the stairs. Finding our amazing seats.. the show was great.. she was barefoot the entire time. But they didn't play dreams.. then an encore.. but they didn't play dreams.. I refused to leave.. 15 mins went by. I stood up in disbelief ready to leave the show in tears.. two steps out if the aisle.. I heard the cord.. quickly we went back to our spot and the crowd rushed back in.. as dreams finally played best concert ever!! RIP Beautiful Woman

Does anyone else get the shivers when she hits her unique vocal sounds?

Zombie is probably the most iconic song of this extraordinary band, but Linger for me is their masterpiece.

As an Irish man, I burst with pride listening to Dolores and The Cranberries. The impact her lyrics had on so many people globally. It truly devastated me when I heard the sad news of her death. Rest in Power My Irish Queen

Reasons like this I'm grateful for the internet. Saving such performances after time takes the artist.

She was born 3 days before me in 71 and I first heard her voice while in college. I will never forget her.

I had been going down a Cranberries rabbit hole on my drives home the past few months. Never really listened beyond my commute, discovered this on YouTube and had no idea she had passed away in 2018 until I got to the comments section. Rest in peace, Dolores really is the voice of a generation. Thank you to her and The Cranberries for such beautiful, sincere and such heart felt music.

Watching this whole thing with a bit of a tear in my eye now, and will probably every time I listen to their music from now on.

My mother taught Dolores in secondary school, said she was always very sweet and quite in her own world. A real creative. R.I.P the world lost such a wonderful soul 💔

It's a real punch in the heart to see her alive and loving the moment again in this session . Like she's not gone almost. What a loss to this world was her unique voice and soul.

Just sitting here in tears watching. If i was there watching I'd be in tears as well. Not because of sadness, because of the profound emotional impact her performances have on me. It's a rare gift she has, for sure!
