Nonlocal Consciousness and Collective Mind | Roger Nelson & The Global Consciousness Project

Is consciousness nonlocal? For many years Roger Nelson Ph.D. of the Global Consciousness Project has explored an extended property of the mind that is unexplained by current science. Results of these experiments seem to suggest that our thoughts and intentions are not encapsulated within our brains or bodies, but extend mysteriously into the world around us, and in scientifically measurable ways. While controversial, a careful but open-minded look at this research strongly suggests the effects are real. In my conversation with Roger, we explore this research, including his later experiments, with the Global Consciousness Project, that hint to the existence of a larger collective consciousness, in which our minds participate. Today we discuss the findings of these experiments, and what could be their profound implications.

When all this is more widely known, those of us asserting the power of shamanic ritual (based on our experiences with it, after training) can finally stop being ridiculed. That will be a welcome relief, when science and spirituality begin to merge their comprehension via a shared language paradigm, a mutual conceptual basis which will allow us to communicate more effectively. Understanding the power of shamanic ceremony isn't the same as experiencing it, however. Just as understanding love as a concept isn't the same as experiencing being in love. Humanity needs to reconnect in consciousness with all the consciousness around him. It is even in the stones. This requires an open mind.

This is one of the few science videos I have watch where I didn't see any trolls (obvious ignorance, inciting of belittling arguments, instead of logical discussion, etc.). I am so grateful. What a pleasure to converse with, and read and learn from people.

1987 is the year that the book "Hands of Light" was published. The physicist Barbara Brennan wrote it and then built a college system teaching it. She wrote that we are eternal, holographic, multidimensional and electromagnetic energy and light beings. What everyone is looking for is in this book.
