Is Sanctification a Process?

In many religious circles, being sanctified is a synonym for growth. Is sanctification a process of doing more and obeying more to become more acceptable to God? Or have you already been sanctified (set apart) as a person?

Mischaracterizion of progressive sanctification. It's not about being "cleaner" for God. It just describes the process of reflecting Jesus more in our heart and actions.

God is all about unconditional love but God loves it when a husband loves his wife unconditionally and he loves it when a husband is extremely and 100% fully transparent and 100% extremely faithful with his Godly wifey :) so my ex husband you keep saying I’m putting a deal breaker on love let me ask you a question does a Godly wifey want to be manipulated, cheated on, lied to all too all the time disrespected by her husband and his parents godparents, abandoned by her husband who claims to love her no she doesn’t want to experience any of these things a Godly wifey should be loved all time by her husband, taken care of treated with respect. And love fully appreciated etc..

Why religion says the lost is spiritually dead. There is not ONE verse that's says that. The Soul is what is dead not man's spirit. Our spirit is seperated from God like everything elese but not dead. The spirit and soul is not the same thing like religion says as well. The souls is dead, the soul is the one that gets saved, the soul is the one that gets sent to hell.
Here are some verses for proof.

Ezekiel 18:20
20 The soul who sins shall die


James 5:20
20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 16:26
26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

1 Thessalonians 5:23
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart
