Good video. But, actually, the magnetic field in the stator coils does not actually rotate, in the same way as if you were to put an axle though the center of a bar magnet and rotate it. We only infer continuous motion, the same way we infer the motion we see in arcade lights. We see continuous, even smooth, movement where there is none.
