In this Elimination challenge, The Top 6 will face the classic tag team challenge, in which they will have to replicate a complex luxurious seafood platter composed of six dishes: steamed mussels in a white wine broth, fritto misto with aioli, grilled sardines, stuffed squids, red snapper ceviche and scallop Coquilles Saint Jacques.

Andrew made a strategic play, pairing Thea's allergy with Jeremy's communication issues. It was a smart way to eliminate a great competitor, though at this stage all of them were strong competitors.

I don't understand how Jeremy was sent home when put at such a disadvantage. Literally Thea could not touch most of the food there. Also Jeremy was the one who did the most anyways.

I found it weird that Mai and Cris didn't get an advantage from winning this challenge (or the one two episodes prior). Also, the judges definitely made a poor call on this challenge, considering one of the contestants cannot touch half the elements, meaning Thea and whoever Andrew would pair her with were almost always going to lose

Overall I loved this season but this was easily one of the worst episodes imo.

- This was a tag team challenge about seafood, and Thea has a seafood allergy. This instantly put Thea and her tag team partner at an unfair disadvantage, and Andrew used the opportunity to put Jeremy under pressure. This actually led to Jeremy's elimination at the end of the episode.
- Mai and Christopher (the legendary "Team Asian" as Chris said) won the challenge, but received no advantages at all. This repeatedly happened to Chris, Mai, and Andrew throughout the season.

Out of all the seasons, this had the highest level of cooking but some of these challenges are really questionably designed.

From my entire time watching Jeremy, from season 3 to him getting a career in food, and now he's more of a one man show, he's been in team challenges and each time he just zones in, and I think he knows that as he works as a private chef and caterer where he can do that and not have problems

Jeremy CONSISTENTLY puts glorious foods in front of the judges week by week and got eliminated. This girl with allergy is such a burden. She puts mediocre food the whole season still manage to stay.
