3 More Squier Stratocaster Mods. Here's 3 more Squier Strat Mods for your new Squier Stratocaster. If you're thinking of modding your Squier strat, start wth the pickups as they're often the weak point. In this video I instal the Tonerider Pure Vintage Stratocaster set as they are epic.
A great Squier Strat mod for more sound options is the Gilmour mod or Start 7 way mod, you can get a harness from Obsidian Wire which adds 2 more swicthing options to your strat: neck and bridge together, and all 3 pickups on at the same time. This Harness is a fantastic price and also has an treble bleed switch which I'd highly recommend using.
Finally. I installed a Fender Stratocaster bridge on this Squier Stratocaster. Why? I had one lying around. And it has a full size trem block. A very easy strat mod when you already have the strings off.
