These Coraline Monsters Were SCARIER in the Book!

In the Coraline book, the monsters appear different than they do in the movie. In this video, I'll talk about the differences in portrayal from book to adaptation.

SOME FEARS ARE SCARIER THROUGH DARK IMAGININGS. Coraline is a dark stop-motion animation film about a young girl whose parents are abducted by an other-worldly creature known as The Beldam. Based on the novella by Neil Gaiman, the story follows Coraline as she ventures into the other world and features many interesting characters such as her eccentric neighbors.

In Neil Gaiman's Coraline, he leaves the reader to imagine a fear worse than anything tangible when it comes to monsters in the other world. In this video, I detail the words Neil described the creatures originally and what I would've liked to see in the movie.
