I got the fly more kit and after I ordered it they brought out a new firmware for the RC2 to make it compatible with the Neo.

At least they give you a remote with the combo, however in the US WE ONLY GET THE 3 BATTERIES AND THE BATTERY CHARGING CASE.

The DJI RC 2 works with Neo, all you have to do is update its Firmware. ;-)

Can you use the RC N3 - that's standard with the fly more combo - without a phone ??
Obviously there wont be any cameraview that way since there's no screen but im looking into buying a bunch of these for STEM reasons.

DJI Support told me you need a phone on the controller to fly the drone - even after initial setup - wich seems very unlikely to me, the other option i have is to buy RC-2's or FPV RC2's with basic neo's but that would cost me WAY more sadly...

If you could give it a quick go to fly the drone with the base remote, without phone that would be awesome news for me, Thanks!

So. Finally i may be saying good bye to my tello EDU as a learning dron for my kid. I worry as most reviews say that the video quality is worse than Spark had. Well to upgrade from tello to neo is good but i still willa stary also with mavic mini 1.
