I was a missionary for over a decade. During that time I once heard that my community, which had people serving in Papua, New Guinea, sent a new person out there and that he was so worried about the cannibals that he asked about them through an interpreter. The natives answered by telling him that there were no cannibals...that they had eaten the last one.
