I have a cousin that lives in Milwaukee. When the whole Dahmer thing was happening she said her son would frequently be in the neaborhood where Dahmer lived. Pretty scary.

They forgot to add, most of the things jeff picked up was from his father giving him animals and people to disect. The neighbors always complained about the death smell, but in the show its far different then most that was said, its was far worse than shown.

I was fascinated with dead animals and how bodies and beings function. I became a nurse. So... Never thought about human pork chops. Dahmer was a weird man with a crazy mom and uninterested father, at least when it counted.

Jeffrey Dahmer's story is definitely scary yet interesting in a psychological aspect. I do give him credit for fessing up when caught. He hid no details when telling about his murders. I do think his family had some fault in how he became to be but they're not completely at fault. With each of these cases we can honestly learn a lot about the psychology of serial killers who fall into the category of cannibals.

Many of these guys talk about a past that goes back to a broken family, trying to deal with it by maybe "killing animals". I come from a broken family, I chose to move forward from that. My sister is now a top accountant at the Mayo Clinic. We did not let our past control us. It all comes down to what you chose to do. A past like that hurts. What you chose to do with that pain is what makes you.

Dahmer's attitude was DEFINATELY "You should be afraid of me." He was going to be taken out FAST; as is proper. Not sure WHAT attitude it would take to survive prison as a known cannibal. In the prison CHAPEL? Praying to who, one would wonder.
