Using Auto-Mix with X32 Consoles

Hey, Drew, thanks so much for the quick tutorial on the new Auto-Mixing feature on the X32 platform. I can now configure Auto-Mix on our Sanctuary's X32 mixer like we have configured on our Children's Church venue's XR16 mixer.

Drew, we have just purchased the x32 and are still exploring the amazing options. I understand [from this video] that only the first 8 channels are available to the Automix feature. Does this also apply if using the Behringer digital snake? We have the worship band and all in-floor mic inputs routed into the first 16 channels of the board. The pastor's wireless mic (and all other wireless mics) have receivers inputted locally at the board in the rear of the sanctuary (channels 17-22 on the board). What I want to do is have the pastor's wireless mic, a wireless handheld mic, the altar and the pulpit mics set for Automix. The first two are on the second layer on the soundboard (17-32); the second two are plugged into the digital snake from the front of the sanctuary (floorbox inputs, first layer, ch. 1-16).

If only inputs 1-8 are allowed for the Automix function (and channel assignments can only happen in groups of eight), how do I setup the board to allow a couple of mics plugged into floorboxes (to digital snake inputs 1-16) and wireless mics (receivers plugged into local inputs at the board, Ch. 17-13)? I want/need to use this function, but haven't figured out how to route for our situation. I'm sure we're not alone in this...

Is there any chance of the automix channels becoming selectable in a future update? I'd love to use it, but all of my speaking mics are on my LAST 8 channels, not my first 8.

What is the max stage mics channels on AutoMix? How to have more stage mics going to AutoMix? Can you group more mics to have this AutoMix? In our church are 22 mics and they can be group in 6 groups.

Why is not possible to activate the auto-mixing on the channels in the edit app? The latest 4.3 version (Mac) does not have that availability. The meter section on the edit app does not have the Auto-mixing tab (and not either the RTA tab for that matter..)

Couple of questions: (1) regarding the Auto-Mix channels, you indicated that it can only be used on the first 8 channels of the mixer. Does that also apply to the physical channels or can I use any physical channel and then assign them to the first 8 channels of the mixer? (2) Does the Auto-Mix feature work with input channels coming from a digital snake (SD8, SD16, S16/32)?

My pastor channels are 30, 31 and 32. Can automix not be enabled on those channels?
