I think you should do a spaghetti sauce garden. Maybe one tomato in the middle and all the various herbs that go with it to make sauce.

Love to see a corn garden, sweet corn and different colored pop corn. This will be very fun.

That size bag I'd vote for corn! With the corn shortage, I'd want to grow as much as I could. I grew corn in my backyard (about 13/14 years ago) and it did awesome!

Funny! When you're a gardening and flower growing junkie and someone says you don't want to watch this long of a garden video and I'm like laughing my pantaloons off saying "whatever keep going brother!". I love the garden tour! I love how people learn and grow whilst learning to grow. So good for your soul. I think it's amazing.
Malibar spinach is fantastic! So beautiful growing on a trellis! So so so many lovely plants you have growing there! You and Lady Grey and doing beautiful things!

Thanks Greyman. Your garden is looking great! I'll be glad when mine is looking like that. I vote for Corn for a few reasons. 1) With the price of corn now it would be economical to grow even a few ears. But in a container that big you could easily get a dozen or more corn stalks to produce. 2) Potatoes do not do well in the heat of our southern summers. I've had them basically bake in the ground which is not like baking in the oven or in coals. Then there are the torrential rains. If they are near the harvest stage they will start to rot almost immediately. I plant in the fall and let them winter over and plant another patch or 2 in early spring to harvest right before the heat of the summer. 3) Herbs like celantro tend to bolt in the summer. They do better in the fall and early spring for me. You could probably grow celantro in the winter where you are. It depends on what other herbs you want to grow as to how well they will do. Perennials do much better in the summer than annuals do. Much Love

Grey, personally, i would grow the MOST NUTRIENT DENSE foods. 🍀🍀With herbs, you can make PESTO, SALSA, yogurt dill sauce, cilantro to flavor rice, add to soups or gazpacho, mint for a ice + fresh mint drink, etc... the possibilities are endless.
Herbs are loaded with iron, B vitamins, minerals

Your garden looks amazing! I vote for potatoes for the 50 gallon bag. Herbs would be a waste since they don’t need all the soil depth.

Bad news my garden was raided. Good news the deer left a fertilizer deposit. Found deer fencing pushed down on the ground. Thanks for sharing your garden tour.🙏😎🏖🏝

I think you should try a herb garden. So many to choose from and endless harvests to use fresh and to dehydrate.

I must have that 50 gallon grow bag!! While I know corn is short right now, I feel like this year is not a time to take a planting risk that may or may not grow. I vote for potatoes because that is a sure bet!
