“Is it perfect? No. Does it have to be? No, so we’re good.” This is why I dig your videos. You share the stoke and encourage us to just go for it and grow.

I would love more drip irrigation related content, like where we actually get to see you assemble some more lines step by step.

I use 10 grow bags, 8 restaurant buss-tubs and 50 3 gallon containers for my garden so that I can move them around for sunlight. I don’t want to ruin the backyard lawn so they are all in the cement patio. Because of your tips & tricks all my fruits and veggies have flourished since April & I have a full fridge. 😊

I love that you wear flipflops in the garden, my wife gives me a ton of crap that I need to wear actual shoes, but the flipflops are just so much better! love the new place and looking forward to watching what you do to it.

My favorite quote, “when you start out things just don’t look good.” What great words of wisdom for life in general!

This Spring I discovered grow bags with velcro garage doors in them. So you can check the size of the carrots/potatoes without actually pulling them out.

Wow! I am seeing this video for the first time in 2924. Your homestead has come a long way! Great job!

This kind of video is great because many of us are in the same situation: want to start a garden but can’t afford much more than some grow bags and want to see how to make the most of what we’ve got. Your grow bag garden looks a lot like what I started this year.

Would love to know how you amend the grow bag soil or how you fertilize as the plants grow.

When you get to this point in your transition to Epic Urban Homestead, I would love to see a vid on how you disassemble and move your main garden over. (If you plan to do this) What will do with your raised garden beds to move them, will you save your soil? How to preserve your soil structure with a move? and how you have been moving over or faze out crops? I foresee a move for me in the next year or so, and I have no idea what a garden move will look like.

I’m trying grow-bags for the first time this year. Nothing fancy, just a few potatoes on my deck. I love Eric’s reassurances that it doesn’t have to look perfect! This is my favorite video from my favorite YouTube gardener.

I’m growing dwarf citrus in grow bags under led lights inside my house. I lost all my dwarf citrus outside in the AZ heat last summer. So far the trees are loving it. I’m planning on keeping the a max height of 6’, if they get that tall. I made some wooden plant movers and sat the grow bags on some nice heavy plastic saucers on the movers. I have pvc to make a rack to hang the grow lights on over the trees. Not bad for a 81 yr old gal. I was raised on a farm and cannot stand not trying to grow things.

I like the video.gardening is not about being perfect in other people's eyes.its about doing what you can a few pots at a time. I did 10 pots of pepper and tomato plants and 2 pink roses.i still want strawberry and pumpkin plants in flat containers.

Please do more videos on grow bags...what does well what doesn't...fertilization needs...etc. I am still having to water by hand on mine. So I think my nutrients are washing away to quickly. Am still a little intimidated on setting up the drip system..but this video helped. I am in TN zone 7b. Very hot and humid so my bags dry out quickly

Longest journey starts with a single step. Good to get a feel for the area you're working on, a certain amount of mobility is always good.

What a wonderful blank canvas you have to work with! Can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now.

I'm impressed you did all that work in your tsinelas...like a true Filipino :-D You've inspired me to start an herb garden. I saved my mint and basil by using neem powder(didn't have neem oil). No more spider mites! I'm so happy!
