I've already set MesloLGS NF as default font for VS Code terminal but how apply changes for icons too? some of them are not appearing (e.g. line above and 'git' icon)?
Could you help me, please? :)

Thanks a lot! but I faced an unexpected problem which was that the icon was not showing up properly on zsh inside visual studio code. Outside of visual studio code, the terminal and the iTerm both work perfectly the way you described. Any solution to this problem?

Why do you need iterm2? It's needed and the default zsh terminal can also be customised.
