The church / people are a part of the Kingdom. We (the church)are in this world. We wrestle in this world against the principalities and spirits that influence the governments and institutions of this world and in this world. The church had better be Voting!

Pastor McArthur is such a great teacher/preacher. Just like every human being ever born into this fallen "World System, " he is Not perfect! My Brother in Christ, McArthur is So right on absolute "Truth." The Kingdom of God is Seperate from this "World System, " and as a "Born Again" Christian, one must understand that indeed we must Vote in order to stand for "Righteousness, " that's why it is So Very important as to Who you Vote for and what they stand for. We are indeed, just passing through, but if All Christians took the Responsibility and Like "Pastor McArthur" says we can make a difference. Amen!

The American form of government obtains it's moral (and legal) authority from the consent of the governed. You and I, therefore, are personally responsible for the actions and policies of OUR government.

If you're a Christian, you are obligated to stand, publicly, for moral, just, egalitarian, beneficient and fiscally constrained government.

Of course nothing we do here will change what has already been written, but everything we do now has an effect on the world, has a chance to make a small or huge difference in someone’s life. McCarther forgets that God used unrighteousness people all the time to achieve His goals. Like Nebuchadnezzar. Also, we are to be salt in society- that is, slow the decay of society.

Jesus made two important points in following the laws/governments of this world while also clearly stating which master to follow as a Christian.
Matthew 22:21
Jesus responds to a trick question from the Pharisees by saying, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's".

Matthew 6:24. ESV "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money..

There are millions of people struggling to make ends meet as the government over taxes over regulates.We do not hide our light under a basket and that includes in the public arena. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is first and foremost, John 3:16-18, Romans 10:9-13. Those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved 🙏

Amen! I pastor a recovery church. I always have so many people telling me I need to be talking about politics. I told them that coming from the streets two things we never trusted is the Church and politicians. Now I finally have them coming to church the last thing I want to do is scare them away by talking about politics!
