Germany's Diamond Filled Crater - Nördlinger Ries - #OddWorld

The Nördlinger Ries is a unique so-called rampart crater, the only one found (so far) on Earth. The impact of the Ries asteroid created billions (presumably) of tiny diamonds in one very violent event. The ejecta from the impact fell back down to earth in a large circle around the impact site, creating a kind of shelf or lobe. This is called the rampart. In hindsight I don't think I did a good enough job actually showing where the crater is and the rampart - as it's not very visible from satellite pictures and there were plenty of maps delineating the structure.

I lived there 15 Jears, never heard about diamonts. But the Stone from the Asteriod and the Bedrock mixed together and made a new Stone Called "Suevid". The Curch in the Middle of this town is Made from this New stone

In the USA there is a place called crater of diamonds in Arkansas. It is caused by a volcano You can walk around and pick up diamonds and keep them. You don’t need a mining license.
