Managing a Stroke Patient | Case Breakdown (October 11th, 2024)

🚨 👉 A 64-year-old female is found in the middle of a shopping center, alert and confused. Security contacted 911 after a retail worker contacted security for a woman they believed to be intoxicated.

The female appears emotionally distraught and appears to struggle completing full thoughts or sentences. When you ask her what’s going on she clearly replies “the truck yard mower.” Her skin is pink, warm, and dry. Her eyes are equal and reactive to light, and her physical assessment is otherwise unremarkable.

Your partner obtains her vitals, and the patient complies with all assessments and commands.
