Helps that you don't tell them the main magic comes from how you edit the light in her face vs what is cast on the bush around her.

Portrait mode is also a very hit and miss and very brand-dependable. On iPhone ir does well in 90% of the time. On my Asus, it's almost unusable due to the amount of digital processing and artificial bokeh.

You show us a heavily edited version of the portrait VS the first photo straight out of the camera. Plus one is a full body photo VS a close up photo.. You should have shown us how to take a full body photo without distractions and then leave both normal or edit both shots to compare.

Guys is the iPhone as good as the camera? Better? 😶 I have an android and take soo many photos...that don't look like this!

It might not work if your client doesn't naturally look that "esthetic", doesn't wear make up, isn't dressed like a model or doesn't feel comportable to pose. Then you need some gentle distructions from the subject oder a setting that fits the character of your subject.

That bush bad idea...instead get closer to subject zoom in or crop raw file to jpg or bmp file...always save original unedited uncompress raw file as backup to edit variety files copies.
