Thanks Chris I enjoyed the vid as always. What I don't understand is looking at commanders as individuals. We all use commanders in pairs and I know you do best pairs for each cat vids which is great but take a commander like Honda and he goes with everyone, Philip goes with everyone, Alex can still be used. I agree they are not the best of the best but their utility makes them more than niche. Just throwing it out there.

It important to keep in mind the Kingdom your in and your opponent. If your f2p. You’ll never meet competition that has the meta. Maybe one or two of the opposing whale will bring heat. All things considered. Best investment long term. Is Phillip. F2P only should run 3 marches max. With Phillip. You can interchange with one new powerful commander at a time. Phillip is the closest thing to a long lasting commander like William. Phillip won’t get you the kills in KvK. That doesn’t matter. Because your kill will come by filling the rally’s of your Kingdoms whale gar/rally leads. That’s also a major reason why the most recruited players will alway be the gar/rally players. Or chase the meta and end up with a lot of 5511 5551 wasted invested commanders 😂. I love Chisgule. Learned a lot from him. Just realized as a F2P. Follow some advice doesn’t make sense for free to play. Think about it. He’s already talking about going the direction of combo. Really a whole new set of Armaments? For f2P. New Armaments would require 6 months to a year. Even with this time and resources investment. You’ll be lucky to get sub par armaments.

You keep saying Skill meta is gone, but if ragnar showed us anything is that these new formations wont be the sole future of a type but just extra, its clear to me that skill dmg com will still exist for every type going forward in rotation.

11:34 average kraken malding when siege allows low spend/f2p to trade positive against max tech players. Ignore his comments about siege at this point, if you are low spend/F2P after your first march is expertise, look into siege, get gajah/corb and get those kills.

The counter play for siege is the fact that it takes 20 seconds to engage and disengage (10 each). If you have field, enemy siege becomes nullified, you can not cheeseburger with siege.

Agree for Philippe but not so sure you really need leadership gear, if you plain to play mono troops nothing can stop you to use like Philippe first and Assurbanipal secondary, with Philippe get all dragon breath set ! And for sure Archellong armements! I use this and it’s very very good !

Just come back to see how RoK and Chisgule going after more than a year. As an archer player, seeing Artemisia in "Just No" category is predictable, but Boudica Prime already out of the picture is really heartbreaking, especially when Nevsky and Scipi P are still of a good investment.

I feel like thats pretty solid. I was a little tempted to do a siege march but I feel like the playstyle is probably boring and its a big investment (2 commanders, armaments, gear, actually training siege troops...)

8:06 don’t get me wrong I do love Wallace however we most likely to get a new smite inf in a few months and ofc he is going to be better than him on they other hand we aren’t sure if we will have a new inf skill damage so I guess I will keep Scipio and bump down Wallace

My personal take on this WW / Skippy debate : WW is on the bench the second an AOE commander comes out next gen 😅 Bro is just in the same state as Sargon to my mind 😂
