Baked Apple Slices
In this video I show you how to make the most delicious baked, sliced apples you’ve ever tasted. Skill wise, I show the ins and outs of quickly peeling, cutting, coring and slicing the apples as well. You can’t go wrong with a recipe that includes cinnamon, sugar, butter and apples. This is great as a snack by itself, or as the base for incredible desserts. Please write a comment below about how you would use these.

Proportions are not too terribly important as you can see in the video, but here are the ingredients you will need:
apples
sugar
cinnamon
butter

Not all apples are good for baking. Some go to mush and some retain their shape. It would have been good to give the name of the apples you used.

Yummy Jim! First, thank for addressing us diabetics, yes, DON'T use equal part Splenda to sugar, not that I've ever done that, LOL! You had me at "Or just a spoon"! Fun and simple recipe, especially the caution note about cutting, my Mom taught me that the first time I cooked with her and the other very important item is keeping your knives sharp. I'm at my computer working and haven't eaten breakfast yet, now I starving for some baked apples. As you asked, how would I use the baked apples, hot in a bowl with ICE CREAM! Thank you, Jim, the great video can't wait to see what you're up too on Thursday! I especially like Dennis's comment "no boiling, you should be good to go" and agree with Lloyd, love those bloopers, LOL!
