Should you play Honkai Star Rail in 2024?

It's been about a year for Honkai Star Rail since release. 2.0 is here now, should people be playing it?

There is also one thing I like to which HSR did better is for their events. Some of their good events are not time gated meaning you don't have to be in rush to clear those and still get good rewards. I'm saying this since I stopped playing for a few months and just came back just before 2.0 and I was surprised some of the previous events I can still clear and experience its story as well which is very good imo.

my friend convinced me to play this game 1 week ago and now im HOOKED, its so fun like its so addicting to grind and grind lmao, im almost level 40 too ive been playing a lot

I originally started the game because I enjoyed the story and the soundtracks and it keeps getting better

Genshin is extremely time consuming since it's an open world and no auto. Hsrv is much more comfortable with better rewards, honest to God great story and better characters and npcs. I wanted to play genshin for the story but it so tideous and i really don't have that much time. Hsr charcters look like actual people, even the personalities. Genshin characters all look like teenagers to me but that might just be the different animation style. Still tho💀

Turn based rpgs are way more timeless and age like fine wine compared to button mash action rpgs where the movement feels clunky 5 years later. Also auto mode is a god sent for farming where you don’t even have to think about it and actual difficult endgame content is not viable with auto either way.

I played ZZZ when it came out because some of my friends played it. Im not that hooked on the game but somtimes i hop on it, because i think the game is kinda good, will i like HSR more than ZZZ?

I looked up reviews for this game when I saw a review for ZZZ by one of my favorite game reviewers. I had been a longtime Genshin player but fell off pretty hard in 2023. I didn't particularly keep up with what Mihoyo was doing, but WOW.

This game is so much better than GI. It is literally the turn based RPG I've been wanting from Square for like...20 years now. I can't believe my favorite JRPG is actually a Chinese F2P game. This game is just marvelous.

As someone who kinda hates artifact farming in genshin, I really prefer farming for relics and other resources in hsr..
Auto battle really saved me..

Every time i see gacha games that look really good and polished, i get kinda sad that this amount of work is getting "wasted" on a glorified slot machine and idle game lovechild. I am genuinely impressed with how high the quality is for some of these games. Ive been looking for a gacha that could prove me wrong. Can you give me an unbiased and unfiltered opinion, does this game's actual gameplay take skill from the player or is this just brainless autoplay grind for casual mobile players. If not, are there any gachas that fill this criteria?

I play Genshin for combat and exploration and honkai doesn't seem to have them anywhere as good. I am not particularly interested in the story and I feel they could keep it much shorter and or add a skip button 😅 but that's just me. The other aspect I like, and probably the only one I'd find interesting in Honkai, is character building... but without good combat and exploration I'm not sure I'd be motivated. Just personal preferences though

I think it's a little late but here is some constructive criticism. By the end of the first minute of the video I got board and wanted to click of, so try adding more memes and interesting stuff. Here is a secret, every 3 seconds there should be movement and change. It's hard but if you do it, your content will become better in no time.
