Side note: Do not worry about making or hoarding food/consumable items because these can only be used out of combat anyways so they're effectively useless. If they can be sold then do that instead. Turn all your non-critical ingredients into money that way.

I wonder if any of the QoL changes in Star Rail will be ported to Genshin with the release of Fontaine (Version 4.0) presumably later this year.
Also, smart choice on Hoyo's front to release Star Rail during Genshin's "slower" patches.

many of the systems are like much more interesting or forgiving versions of genshin’s systems. You can get artifact materials back from trashing, elements are more of a suggestion than a requirement, skills are a lot more varied and interesting, the “spiral abyss” of this game got completely reworked and isn’t a chore and arguably most importantly: you can get whatever 5 star you want at a certain wish threshold (despite how high it is). Definitely makes me want to play this game when it’s released.
